The only real question now is,what will Obama do? One view is that he will act as centralist and keep the military more or less intact, mission more or less unchanging, and keep the banks in the center of finance. To not do this would incur lots of institutional resistance, including congress. this is a realistic path but one filled with anger on the environment, jobs, and supporting the tendency toward state capitalism, started now as the fed owns banks..
I hope it does not go this way, and that a real new new deal emerges.
