GARDENWORLD POLITCS – the book in draft. The draft chapters are updated frequently. See also the notes blog where there are also biographical sketches. The book began about five years ago, before I was aware of climate and several other global issues. Political interviews had shown me how much people cared about the environment, but the polls rarely asked any relevant questions. The market swing always benefits the rich who buy early sell early while the rest, using weaker informatin and copycat behavior buy later and sell later. The results is always a shift of wealth upward.

The London Riots, the situation in Egypt, demonstrations in China, and look out for Wisconsin, all hint at the pressure cooker situation unemployment and lack of future are creating.

The situation is dangerous faster than most thought.

But as they get it, what next? Does GardenWorld have a chance?

CURRENT CONTEXT: ARGUMENT OVER TWO FAILING POLICIES

We are really stuck. Two polices: Cut taxes so that income to the rich will be invested Increase stimulus so the rest can purchase and hence drive up demand and hence create jobs. But both fail. Demand can be met by robots.Stimulus goes to China. The three mostlikely scenarios: 1. fascism 2.corporate feudalism 3. democratic internet decentralization and peer to peer coordination

THREE DECADES OF NARROWING WEALTH

This is the real issue. and politics is being used to keep the results where they are. But the good of the country as a just society – and a productive one – requires that the tide reverse and reverse the narrowing into a broadening of wealth holding and income possibilities. big task. But it must be done.
